My name is Larry Haywood and I have been interested in solar energy for homes quite some time. I sort of stumbled onto the subject by accident and have been involved with solar energy technology ever since.  I then discovered that there were folks building their own solar energy panels at home for a fraction of what others pay! Some people have even built home energy systems that completely run off grid. No more electric bills?

Which brings me to why I made this site on the solar energy advantages. It has been difficult for ordinary people to learn how to setup their own solar power systems at home before now and I wanted to build this site to help others like myself  that are looking for help on building a solar panel system.
